Amsterdam – the city of canals, bicycles, and art – had long been on my bucket list. While booking my flights back from a conference in Paris, I saw an opportunity to arrange a short layover in the Netherlands. One of the flights landed before 2 PM at Schiphol Airport, and my return flight to Poland was at 9:40 PM. I thought to myself: this is the perfect chance to see Amsterdam, even if just for a little while!
